Snow day

Today is a snow day. Which I susptected it would be. If it even threatens to snow, they get all scared around here and call off school. Which usually doesn't bother me a bit. But it kind of stinks because it means they have to make these snow days up later around Easter or into the summer.

I had every intention of being productive today but so far all I have managed is to go get my hair cut(which I am not happy with), stop at Home Depot for a snow shovel(so all three kids have one and there is no excuse for them to fight over who has to shovel and who gets to watch). I also cleaned out the frig. It was icky. I want to do the pantry still but I just don't feel like it. There is always tomorrow though.

Tonight we are supposed to go to a friends for dinner. I guess it is still up in the air whether we will actually be able to go because they are calling for freezing rain. Which is actually scary to drive in. I can deal with snow but ice, no thank you. So we'll see.
