Menu Plan Monday!

It's been awhile my dear love, but here you go. Go forth and procreate-meals. Delicious meals to nourish your family. Or something like that. Whatever, here is my menu for the week including yesterday.

Sunday: Grilled chicken breasts(on foreman grill marinated in tastefully simple bayou bourbon glaze).
Monday: Spaghetti and meatballs, salad, bruscetta
Tuesday: crock pot chicken, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, green beans
Wed: Homemade chicken soup using leftover chicken from previous day, baked bread
Thursday: Crock pot beef(venison) stroganoff-first day of school-ick
Friday: homemade pizza
Saturday: cheeseburgers, oven fries
Sunday: Artichoke chicken, bruscetta, angel hair pasta, spinach(having company for dinner)

Keep scrolling down to see what we did over the holidays in the much awaited debut new year post. Whatever, if you want, keep reading.

Yummy! When you have homemade pizza do you buy premade crust or make your own?

Gina, I used to always make my own crust. Then a friend of mine introduced me to pre-made crusts from sams club. You have to go to the counter where they sell pizzas and ask for them. They sell them by the case and they are huge and taste awesome. The same friend also gave me two screen pizza pans. They allow the heat to come through and cook the crust really well. We all agree that our homemade pizza's with the screens and sams club shells are way better than ordering out. And way cheaper as well.

Another friend introduced us to homemade stromboli. You just make it with the pizza dough that comes in a tube. I get the wider thinner crust variety that is new and it makes larger strombolis. We just put whatever we want in them, roll em up and cook. Yum!

I wonder if I could buy those at Costco.. I'll have to ask the next time I go there. We really like homemade pizza too but making the dough is really time consuming.

Hmmm..I've always made my own crust. The ones in the stores are too expensive to buy - you might as well order out. I never thought of Sam's, though. Great idea! And I definitely need one of those screens. I have seen them, but I don't have one, and no pan/cookie sheet/stone has really impressed me yet. THanks for the pizza tips!!
